From the Commissioner's desk:
2/23/23
Gentleman,
There is a typo in the Spring Registration brochure
stating age 30 plus to
pitch, the correct age to pitch is 36 plus in the Spring '23 Season.
4/04/22 The 27th Ponce season in the Baltimore Area will begin this Sunday-First week of games will be on website, pdlmaryland.com- late tonight
New twist- This Sundays games 4/10 - play as a regular
Ponce game but will not count towards regular season total of games
played consider them " Exhibition Games", for the purpose of getting
teams organized, new players getting uniforms, checks to umpires, game
balls to teams etc... Looks like we may have 7 teams which leads to a Sunday bye, to help with byes I'm looking into some Spring night time games. We'll have have Easter Sunday break to finalize teams, rosters, schedule and
Full Season will start on 4/24
I look forward to seeing everyone soon
Thanks Tom

Gentleman, who would have ever thought I would have to send a
message to teams regarding the COVID-19 pandemic we are all dealing
with. Hopefully no one you know has tested positive.
The Spring Season is scheduled to start Sunday April 19th and as of
today games will be played as scheduled, and the open workout Sunday
March 29th will take place.
This situation we are faced with seems to change every day,
therefore we may face the possibility of Schools and Recreation
Departments not allowing use of their respective facilities for an
unspecified time.
I feel it is my duty as Commissioner to provide teams with some
communication as to how the League is proceeding as I take
responsibility for the safety of all participants.
Please feel free to respond with any comments, God willing I will
see all of you this Spring on the ball diamonds.
